Kaley Cuoco has gushed about how proud she is of her life to mark her 30th birthday.

Newly single actress Kaley Cuoco is proud she didn't let "a few bumps" in life ruin her 30th birthday.

The Big Bang Theory star split from her husband of almost 21 months, tennis star Ryan Sweeting, in September and the pair are currently going through a divorce. On Monday (30Nov15) Kaley celebrated her landmark birthday, and she took a minute to reminisce on everything she's been through over the last 12 months.

"Today was the best birthday I have ever had ... Thank you for all the love and best wishes .. My heart is overwhelmed with joy and complete contentment... there have been a few bumps along the way, but thank you God, nothing I can't handle.." she captioned a picture of herself gazing out at some landscape while on a hill on Instagram.

The star was at the Black Jaguar-White Tiger Foundation’s sanctuary in Mexico, where she'd marked her special day by cuddling up to baby tigers. She thanked her "precious little angels", several friends, who accompanied her on the trip and made it so special, and also showed how much she's looking forward to the next chapter of her life by including the comment "#30isgonnarock". In another picture, Kaley is seen clutching some bright pink birthday balloons in one hand and several stuffed tiger toys in the other.

It's been a busy period for Kaley, who recently got a large tattoo of a butterfly on her back. The decision was made to cover up some Roman numerals which spelt out her wedding anniversary, with the actress making light of the inking with some social media posts.

"Thank you @nero_sct @studiocitytattoo for helping me right my wrongs.. note to self- do not mark your body with any future wedding dates #under30mistakes #donttakeyourselftooseriouslykids," she wrote on Instagram.

"the deep, meaningful, larger than life meaning behind this beautiful piece of ink, is..... It covered the last one (sic)."
