Kaley Cuoco: Johnny Galecki and I are just buddies
Kaley Cuoco has hit out at claims she and The Big Bang Theory co-star Johnny Galecki have been secretly hooking up following her marriage split.
TV star Kaley Cuoco has denied she’s having a secret fling with ex-boyfriend Johnny Galecki.
The 29-year-old actress split from husband Ryan Sweeting last month (Sept 15) after 21 months of marriage.
Following the break up, it has been rumoured that Kaley and her The Big Bang Theory co-star Johnny have been hooking up.
The pair had previously dated for roughly two years until 2009, and their on-screen alter egos Penny and Leonard recently married on the CBS show.
On Wednesday (14Oct15), Kaley took to Instagram to comment on the allegations that she and Johnny are more than just friends.
Alongside a snap of herself and Johnny pumping fists while sitting on a bench, Kaley wrote: “So sorry to disappoint, but no home wreckers or secret flings going on here.
“Me and @sanctionedjohnnygalecki are just the best of buds – Leonard and Penny will just have to suffice!!!"
Johnny also commented on the claims with a similar picture which appeared to have been taken just seconds after Kaley’s.
"No scandals / home wreckers / pregnancies here, y'all (sic),” the 40-year-old wrote. “Just profound friendship."
Kaley and Johnny kept their relationship under wraps during their time together, with news of the romance only being made public after they split.
The pair knew their love for each other might affect the programme, so decided to keep their private life to themselves.
"It was a wonderful relationship but we never spoke a word about it and never went anywhere together," Kaley told CBS Watch! magazine back in 2010. "We were so protective of ourselves and the show and didn't want anything to ruin that.
"We couldn't do anything. It wasn't as fun as we wanted it to be. Everyone was always asking, and we deny-deny-denied. … It took a little bit of a toll on me and I think it did for him, too. Not that I want to go traipsing down a red carpet with anyone, but there's got to be a happy medium."
