Kane: Get Scherzinger on Unzipped

Russell Kane has revealed he would like Nicole Scherzinger to be a guest on his TV show Unzipped.

The comedian - who co-hosts the BBC Three show with Radio 1 DJ Greg James - admitted he might get a bit star-struck if the X Factor judge did make an appearance.

"Nicole Scherzinger would be the dream guest because I have a fixation with her - seriously," he said.

Russell, who is engaged to make-up artist Lindsey Cole, recalled an awkward encounter with Nicole and her then-boyfriend Lewis Hamilton.

"We bumped into her at a spa. That was amazing. I looked down - I just looked at my feet and started rocking back and forth," he admitted.

The programme is set to return for a third series, and the 32-year-old said: "I don't know what's going to happen but my instinct is, we've done the survey thing twice. Do we really need another survey of Britain? Let's just get some really bangin' guests on and have Greg and I being inappropriate."

Russell also revealed plans to present a chat show with Greg.

"We know quite a lot of people between us. Greg knows all the music people and I know some of the reality and comedian people, so we may have a bit of a chat show on our hands. But it's early days yet," he said.

"There's nothing quite like that on BBC Three. Graham Norton and Jonathan Ross are brilliant, but I think there's room for something a bit sillier and with a bit more edge."

Your Horoscopes by Russell Grant

Gemini:

A friend will tell you about a job opening at their company. This lead will turn into a dead end. Don't set your hopes on this possibility. Instead of looking for another job, concentrate on fulfilling your duties. Tempers are running high. The last thing you want is to catch the attention of an irritable superior. If someone does criticise your work, remain silent. These remarks may be terribly unfair, but defending yourself will only make the situation worse. Breathe deep. This, too, shall pass.More
