Kanye blasted by Ohio cop

Kanye West’s comparison to his life being like that of a cop has angered an Ohio policeman.

Brimfield Police Chief David Oliver blasted Kanye on the department’s Facebook page saying he has no clue about the real dangers they face.

The chief had listened to Kanye’s interview with Saturday Night Online and was so angry by his comments he felt the need to reply.

“You sir, are as misguided as they come,” the letter begins reports TMZ.

“Since you are accustomed to danger, from your life as an international rapper, I am strongly encouraging you immediately abandon you career as a super star and join the military, (sic)" he added.

Kanye is currently touring America in support of his new album Yeezus.

The elaborate live show involves a huge artificial snow-covered mountain being erected and it is this element of the show which the rapper says poses the biggest risk to his health.

“I'm putting my life at risk, literally!" he exclaimed. “When I think about when I’m on the Can’t Tell Me Nothing, and Coldest Winter moment, like that mountain goes really, really high. And if I slipped… You never know. And I think about it.”

Kanye then proceeded to compare the risks of his live show to other professions.

“I think about my family and I’m like, 'wow, this is like being a police officer or something', in war or something.”

It is the last comment in particular that has angered David, who quickly put Kanye in his place.

His letter is dripped in sarcasm and mocks Kanye for making such a ridiculous comparison.

“What I do not get is you EVER comparing what you do for a living to our heroic military members, who are always in harm’s way… and my brother and sister police officers who have to go to work carrying weapons and wearing a bullet-proof vest to protect themselves,” before ending with, “Check yourself, before you wreck yourself….Chief Oliver.”
