Kanye West 'books relaxing trip for Kim'

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West

Kanye West is reportedly so worried about Kim Kardashian's work schedule he has booked her a "five-day retreat" to force her to relax.

The stars are expecting their first baby together in July and despite being pregnant Kim's schedule is busier than ever.

Although her beau understands she doesn't want to give up work to become a mother, he is apparently fearful that she isn't looking after herself as well as she could be.

"While Kanye knows she'd never do anything to put the baby at risk, he can't help feeling over protective. He's begged her to take some time out and has booked a five-day retreat for her and her sister Khloé to be pampered for a few days," an insider told Heat magazine.

"Kanye wants Kim to pull out of work from mid-February, but for her that's simply unthinkable."

Kim is thought to have taken ten long-haul flights already this year and last week was seen in Paris at the Haute Couture Fashion Week shows. While there Kanye arranged for them to enjoy some down time together, but her upcoming schedule is busier than ever.

Next month she will be a staple on the party circuit due to the Academy Awards and has a series of other scheduled appearances booked. She is also going to shooting covers for magazines and apparently can't imagine slowing down.

"Kanye is scared that Kim could be pushing herself too hard," the insider explained. "But the problem is, Kim doesn't know how to slow down. She's worked tirelessly to get to where she is today and has never given herself a break. She loves working, she thrives on it and hates the thought of doing nothing."

Kim has previously admitted she is a workaholic who finds it hard to relax in her spare time.

This isn't a good time to make travel plans. Weather conditions and work responsibilities have a way of wreaking havoc with your schedule. Wait another few days before putting down a hefty deposit. Working behind the scenes will yield significant rewards. If someone asks you to serve as their assistant, go ahead and accept. The pay will be excellent and there will be a lot of fringe benefits, too. Don't talk about a neighbour's private life in mixed company.More
