Kanye West is a musical "genius" says collaborator Fat Joe.
The superstar rapper is appearing alongside Fat Joe and Busta Rhymes - amongst others - on Don Cartagena's latest single, Pride N Joy.
Joe has nothing but praise for the talented musician and knows whatever he produces will be impressive because of his unwavering work ethic.
"It was amazing, man. He's a genius," he gushed to MTV News. "To get in there with him is incredible, and he likes perfection, and that only means the record is going to be hot, so, you know I love it."
Joe insists there is never a dull moment working with Kanye. The American rapper was thrilled when the collaboration came about.
"I got a phone call from Kanye West. He said, 'Yo, Joe, it's time, let's do it.' You know, he's one of my favourite rappers of all time, one of my favourite producers, so when he gave me the call, I jumped on that plane immediately and I said, 'Let's go,'" he explained.
"He was like, 'Yeah, all right, engineer, erase everything... and now let's start.' I was like, 'Wow, this guy's crazy,' but you know, it's an adventure.
"In the world of Kanye West, it's an adventure."
