Kanye West ‘unsure about marrying a Kardashian’

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West

Kanye West has reportedly postponed his wedding to Kim Kardashian because he doesn’t want to become part of her family.

The 36-year-old rapper and the 32-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star welcomed their daughter North West into the world in June.

The first-time parents are rumoured to be tying the knot soon, but apparently Kanye has deep reservations about marrying the reality star.

It is said that Kanye doesn’t want to deal with the media attention surrounding the TV clan and is focusing on work obligations instead.

“Kanye has the perfect out, he can’t marry Kim yet because he is going on world tour later this year,” a source told Radar Online. “He loves Kim, but just isn’t sure about marrying into the family.

“Kanye thinks [Kim’s mother Kris Jenner] will want a big televised wedding. And he’s really not up for that. He loves Kim but he hates all the scrutiny that comes from being with her. When the photographers follow him, he flips out.”

Kim has been married twice before and her union with Kris Humphries was officially terminated in April of this year after a long and public court battle.

Supposedly manager-and-matriarch Kris doesn’t believe a marriage to Kanye would benefit the Kardashians’ reputation.

“This will be Kim’s third marriage, and Kris doesn’t think the Kardashian brand can handle another divorce,” a family insider revealed. “Kris would be happy if Kim and Kanye never married because he doesn’t let her call the shots.”

Kim tied the knot with basketball player Kris in 2011 but the couple called it quits after just 72 days. She was previously married to Damon Thomas from 2000 to 2004.

Kanye was previously engaged to designer Alexis Phifer. The former couple called off their 18-month engagement in 2008. It would be his first marriage.

Read the fine print on a contract. If you're not happy with the proposed terms of a deal, renegotiate. Don't be afraid to drive a hard bargain. You may not realise it, but you have a great deal of power. People are willing to pay good money for someone with your intelligence and experience. If you undersell yourself, you will set a dangerous precedent. Someone will ask you to do something that goes against your conscience. Obey your principles, even if it means making an enemy.More
