Kat Von D has been awarded a restraining order against a fan accused of stalking her.

The celebrity tattoo artist filed a request for a stay-away order against Michael Nunn in Los Angeles Superior Court.

According to TMZ, he is accused of harassing Kat on Twitter and posting her personal phone number on the internet.

Kat claims in filings obtained by the website she had multiple close encounters with the defendant in recent months.

He is accused of showing up at her home and calling her in April. And in June she claims he showed up to a public event where she was present in a bid to meet with her.

Kat reportedly believes the defendant shows "delusional and paranoid tendencies, including the belief that the FBI is watching him".

A temporary restraining order issued by a judge on Monday requires Michael to remain at least 100 yards away from the 30-year-old LA Ink star at all times.

He is also forbidden from contacting her on the internet.

A hearing is scheduled for later this month, when a judge will decide if the order will be made permanent.

The only way to get the training you need is to do some volunteer work. Making a temporary sacrifice will eventually pay off. Be patient.More
