Katie Holmes 'dismisses actor romances'

Katie Holmes

Katie Holmes is reportedly "done" with dating fellow actors.

The 33-year-old hit headlines earlier this year when she split from Hollywood star Tom Cruise and has dated other actors in the past.

Now the former Dawson's Creek actress has allegedly told friends she will be avoiding others in the industry when she starts looking for romance again.

"Katie doesn't want to tie herself down just yet, but she says she's done going out with actors," a source told RadarOnline.

"Her previous relationships with Joshua [Jackson], Chris [Klein] and Tom [Cruise] didn't work out, so she thinks she should look away from her own profession."

The mother-of-one is now apparently looking to friends to introduce her to potential love interests.

Her fashion business partner Jeanne Yang is reportedly busy helping Katie meet artists.

"Jeanne… has taken Katie to some art gallery openings recently and she's met tons of interesting artists. She's been saying now that if she does date anyone, it could be someone who works in the arts world," the source continued.

"Katie's more interested in the quiet life now and an unassuming artist would fit the bill perfectly for when she's ready."

Katie and Tom announced their divorce after five years of marriage, with leaked legal documents stating the "marital relationship" had "broken down irretrievably for a period of at least six months immediately preceding".

No matter how stringently your loved ones warn you, that won't stop you pursuing a romantic interest. You're utterly captivated by someone who exudes warmth, charisma and drama. The two of you get along very well, but beware of the financial toll this relationship will take. The object of your affection likes expensive things. If you're not able to provide them with the luxuries they crave, there will be problems. Then again, you have the potential for being a good provider, so all may be well.More
