Katie Holmes is allegedly "lonely" and missing her friendship with Victoria Beckham.
The actress-and-designer is reportedly keen to reconcile the strong bond she once had with the British star.
Sources have revealed that following Katie's split from her ex-husband Tom Cruise, she has been feeling lonelier than ever. It has believed Katie is spending her first Thanksgiving as a single mom away from her daughter Suri, with reports the little girl will celebrate the holiday with Tom in London.
The mother-of-one is keen to build bridges with old acquaintances who she may have neglected prior to the break-up.
"Katie's lonely, short of female friends and really misses the time she used to spend with Victoria," an insider revealed to British magazine Now.
The two women first became close in 2007 after Victoria moved from the UK to Los Angeles with her family.
Their friendship blossomed due to their shared passion for fashion, with both successfully making names for themselves in the design world.
However, they seem to have drifted apart over recent years, as they have both had increasingly busy personal and professional lives.
Katie, 33, has reportedly now actively sought to extend an olive brand to Victoria, 38, by inviting her to meet up the next time she is in New York City.
"She knows she's incredibly busy but she's pushing for them to spend quality time together when Posh is next in New York," the insider revealed.
It is unclear how much time the two women will be able to spend together in the long run as the Beckham family will likely be moving in the coming months.
This week Victoria's soccer star husband David confirmed he will be leaving his team LA Galaxy, with clubs including Paris Saint-Germain said to be interesting in signing him. There have also been rumours the family could be relocating to Australia or Brazil, with new suggestions David's old team Spanish team Real Madrid would like to have him back.
David could reportedly earn up to £12 million from a new deal.
The family flew out of Los Angeles on Wednesday evening and returned to England just in time for Thanksgiving. However, David's trip back home will be short-lived as he due to play for LA Galaxy on December 1.
