Katie Price: 'I don't care if people think I'm a bad mum'
Katie Price insists her kids are "very happy", even if they are "dirty" and "feral".
Katie Price doesn’t care if people judge her parenting skills, telling those who complain to “get a life”.
The mother-of-five has been questioned over some of her choices when it comes to her children, from allowing daughter Princess, 10, to wear make-up to defending son Harvey, 15, after he used an offensive swear word on live TV last year (16).
But Katie, 39, remains defiant that she isn’t doing anything wrong, and voiced her side of the story in Now magazine.
“Listen, there are a lot of parents with four-year-olds who still have dummies – I don’t complain,” she explained.
“My kids are dirty, they’re feral, they’re very happy and they enjoy life. I don’t give a sh*t what anybody says about my mothering skills.
“If anyone wants to complain about how I raise my kids they need to get a life.”
Katie most recently came under fire over the debut episode of her reality show My Crazy Life, which aired on Monday night (10Jul17).
One scene saw the star show her kids a photo from her glamour modelling days, when she was known as Jordan. As Katie held up a picture of herself exposing her breasts for her kids to see, her daughter Bunny, two, who she has with third husband Kieran Hayler, immediately recognised the figure and said, “Mummy”.
Kieran also grabbed her chest at one point, to which her 12-year-old son Junior, who she had during her marriage to Peter Andre, reacted with embarrassment.
“Do any parents do that in front of their children?” he quipped, with Katie asking, “Junior, what’s weird?”
In a sarcastic tone, the youngster replied, “Oh yeah, it’s normal for Kieran to go up to you and just squeeze your boobs, yeah.”
Viewers were quick to voice their outage over the show on social media, with many describing the programme as "awkward".
