Katie Price signs up for five-year paramedic training course

Katie Price thinks Antonio Banderas would be the perfect actor to star as her ex-husband Peter Andre in a film of her life.

Katie Price is training to become a paramedic.

The 39-year-old former glamour model is most famous these days for her panellist position on ITV's Loose Women and her book writing.

But before she hit the big time, Katie dreamt of helping others as a paramedic. And in a new interview with Britain's Heat magazine, the mother-of-five revealed she is once again pursuing that dream after signing up for a training course.

"I’m training to become a paramedic," she told the publication. "It’s a five-year course and you can work and do it at the same time.”

"I had started training to be a nurse when I left school and I love all that kind of stuff... I start the course soon."

It remains to be seen whether or not Katie is entirely serious about the prospect of becoming a paramedic, or if the course is fodder for another reality show.

Katie's My Crazy Life is currently airing on Quest Red and she hasn't ruled out starring in another reality show, or even a film based on her life.

“I still want to do a film or a series," she mused. "I wouldn’t want to be in it because I cant act but I could be clever and do a little cameo."

When it comes to casting the project, Katie believes Channing Tatum would be the perfect choice to play her husband Kieran Hayler because they have "the same eyes", while she has picked Antonio Banderas as the best candidate to take on the part of her ex-spouse Peter Andre.
