Katy Perry and John Mayer "weren't exactly shy" with their PDAs at a recent pool party.
The couple are rumoured to be dating following Katy's high profile divorce from British comedian Russell Brand.
Katy and John were photographed looking very close at a pool party in Beverly Hills earlier this month, with one onlooker saying the pair weren't afraid of who saw their amorous display.
"They hugged each other and splashed around," a source told Us Weekly. "They were all over each other, making out! Neither of them is exactly shy."
There have been conflicting reports about the state of Katy's relationship with John, 34.
While some insiders say she is diving headfirst into a full-blown relationship, others are insisting she sees it as a more casual romance.
"Katy says she's officially dating John, not just hooking up," one source revealed, before another added: "[She] doesn't want to get her heart broken again, but she feels a real connection and wants to see where things go."
Katy has previously been linked to Baptiste Giabiconi and Florence + the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd.
