Katy Perry dumps model?

Katy Perry

Katy Perry has reportedly ended her fling with model Baptiste Giabiconi.

The Part of Me singer, 27, and the Frenchman, 22, were said to be getting close following Katy's split from ex-husband Russell Brand.

But Star magazine reports that Katy's friends advised her that Baptiste just wanted to ride on her coat tails and was maybe not in the relationship purely for love.

"[Katy's pals] warned her that Baptiste was trying to raise his own profile and boost his singing career," the insider told the publication.

"But Katy was vulnerable and lonely after the split. She loved the attention Baptiste lavished on her - and she wanted to make Russell jealous.

"When she realised he was more into her connections than her personally, she dumped him."

Katy travelled to India recently, where she and Russell wed, to do some "serious soul-searching."

Virgo:

It's difficult to deal with a highly competitive colleague. Every time you submit work, they try to find ways to outperform you. Although you have no interest in pitting your talent against theirs, this other person thinks very differently. Ignoring them won't be possible. A good way to disarm this pest is to invite them out for coffee. Describe what you've observed and ask for a truce. Irrational people are often thrown off balance when their behaviour is addressed in a direct manner.More
