Kelly Clarkson has announced that she is officially betrothed to Brandon Blackstock.
The 30-year-old American singer has been dating talent manager Brandon since late last year.
Kelly is absolutely elated about their pending nuptials.
"I'M ENGAGED!!!!!" she wrote on Twitter Saturday.
"I wanted y'all to know!! Happiest night of my life last night! I am so lucky and am with the greatest man ever."
Apparently Kelly has been anticipating this proposal for quite some time.
The star's preparation for her and Brandon's wedding day has consumed her all year.
"Kelly has been eating [well] and exercising like crazy because she wants to look good for Brandon," a source told the National Enquirer previously.
"She loves to tell him that when he pops the question she'll be at her ideal weight of 120lbs. - and ready to shop for wedding dresses."
Brandon is the son of Kelly's manager Narvel Blackstock.
This will be Kelly's first marriage, but Brandon shares two children with his ex-wife.
The couple reside in Nashville together.
