Kelly O's top style tip - comfort

Kelly Osbourne says being stylish is about being comfortable

Kelly Osbourne has insisted the secret to looking good on the red carpet is just to wear something you like.

The presenter of Project Catwalk and Fashion Police - who was crowned Ultimate Style Icon at the Cosmopolitan Women of the Year awards - revealed her top tip was just to wear an outfit you feel comfortable in, and you'll exude confidence.

Kelly said: "When you're confident and comfortable in what you're wearing, your body and your body language exudes it.

"If someone sticks me in an outfit... you know that feeling when someone makes you wear something you don't want to wear and it's always like your whole body goes in and it makes you feel uncomfortable.

"And when you're wearing something you like, even if other people don't like it, if it makes you feel good it's the best feeling ever!"

But the 28-year-old confessed at the awards that she had been feeling a bit worried about her figure hugging frock, as she wasn't wearing a bra.

She revealed: "I've never worn a dress like this before. I'm doing the female equivalent of free-balling. It's the first time I've ever not worn a bra with a dress or had one built in so I was a bit scared getting out of the car, going, 'I hope nothing falls out'!"

Kelly confessed when her stylist showed her the dress she thought it was "boring" but when she tried it on she loved it.

And she insisted presenting a fashion show didn't mean she felt more pressure to look good in public.

Kelly said: "No I don't! I'm not going to change. If I like it I'm going to wear it, if I don't I won't."

You never do anything in moderation. Attend every fun party, accept every juicy offer and try all the delectable treats spread before you. Avoid unpleasant people and activities like the plague. This should be a time of enjoyment. Leave your list of chores at home. You can always attend to these jobs at another time. If you have a chance to show your creative work to a publisher, manager or agent, go ahead. This is also a great opportunity to go on job interviews, auditions and first dates.More
