Kelly Osbourne confirms seizure

Kelly Osbourne

Kelly Osbourne has thanked fans for their support following her seizure yesterday.

The TV star was filming US show Fashion Police when it was reported she was struck by sudden convulsions and rushed to hospital.

The fashionista has now taken to Twitter to thank concerned fans for their support and update them on the incident.

“Thank U all 4 UR beautiful well wishes yes I did have a seizure they are just trying to figure out why? (sic)” she posted to her followers.

The 28-year-old attached a picture to her message, showing her tattooed arm attached to a drip.

Entertainment Tonight claims the seizure lasted 30 seconds and occurred at the end of a one-hour taping for the show.

Her co-stars Joan and Melissa Rivers were on set at the time and an audience member who happened to be a doctor is said to have rushed to Kelly’s aid.

Her family are yet to release a statement, but a spokeswoman for the star revealed some details about her condition prior to Kelly’s tweet.

“Kelly Osbourne fainted on the set of E!’s Fashion Police today,” she told the MailOnline.

“She was taken to a local hospital for further testing and is awake, alert and in stable condition. She will be staying overnight for observation as a precautionary measure. There are no further details at this time.”

Kelly’s health scare follows her brother Jack’s diagnosis with Multiple Sclerosis last year.

Her mother, Sharon, survived colon cancer and underwent a double mastectomy last November after doctors discovered she carried the gene for breast cancer.
