Kelly Rowland's son is getting recycled gifts this Christmas
Kelly Rowland won't buy her son Titan any Christmas presents this year (15).
Kelly Rowland will re-wrap her son's old presents and pass them off as new this Christmas.
The former Destiny's Child singer welcomed son Titan with husband Tim Witherspoon in November last year (14). With a birthday so close to Christmas, the little one was absolutely showered with gifts, which has helped Kelly out with present buying this year (15).
“He’s gotten so much stuff in one year. When he was born, he was set for next Christmas,” she laughed to New York Post's Page Six.
“We’re going to honestly pull some of those toys out and wrap them... He’ll be set until he’s three."
Kelly remains close to her former bandmate Beyoncé, who is a mother to three-year-old daughter Blue Ivy with husband Jay Z. While the pals do bond over babies, they won't let motherhood completely dominate their friendship.
“Well, we definitely have more things to talk about now, but we don’t consume our conversations with our babies,” she smiled.
Kelly also takes the same approach when it comes to her marriage. While she and Tim are now parents and their routines have changed, they still remain true to who they were before little Titan came along
“The baby doesn’t change who we are as people. We still like to go have dinner. We do the activities that we do every day. I don’t think that should stop," she previously told Essence magazine.
“My priority is my husband first. That’s how the baby got there.”
2014 was a year of mixed emotions for Kelly, who got married, had a baby and lost her mother all in the space of 12 months.
“My road to my happiness hasn’t been an easy one. It hasn’t been peachy all the time, but I am so, so happy," the strong star said.
