The Kennedy family matriarchs are absolutely elated that Taylor Swift is dating one of their kin.
Pop star Taylor, 22, and Conor Kennedy, 18, are now going steady.
Conor's grandmother Ethel and his aunt Rory couldn't be happier about the relationship, as everyone in the Kennedy clan are huge fans of Taylor.
"She's awesome," Rory said Wednesday at the Television Critics Association summer tour in Beverly Hills. "She's a great friend of all of ours."
Taylor first became friends of the Kennedy family when Rory took her two daughters to one of the singer's performances.
"Rory went to a concert with her two little girls, and that's what started it all: her children," Ethel revealed.
Should Taylor and Conor get really serious and consider walking down the aisle in the future, grandmother Ethel gives her blessing.
"We should be so lucky," she smiled.
Taylor and her new beau have been seen frolicking all over Westchester County in New York and the Kennedy compound in Massachusetts.
The star has reportedly been "swept off her feet" by Conor.
