Kevin Hart: My son is my best man!

Kevin Hart has named his seven-year-old son Hendrix as best man at his wedding.

The 35-year-old comedic legend is set to marry his model fiancée Eniko Parrish, to whom he has been engaged since August 2014. And his little boy Hendrix from his previous wife Torrei Hart is going to be his special wingman on the day.

"I'm gonna make it my son. Yeah, I'm gonna go with my son, man. That's my best man," Kevin told Access Hollywood. "That's my little guy. I have a lot of best friends, but as far as a best man, that's what I'm grooming my son to be, so at a young age I'm gonna show him how important he is to me. Stand tall, give your dad away."

Kevin in fact plays a best man for hire in his new movie The Wedding Ringer, which premiered in Hollywood on Tuesday and is set for wide release on January 16. So it’s appropriate he’s in the midst of planning his very own wedding.

But he hopes his nuptials will be a quiet affair, in spite of his fame.

"People are going to know about, but this isn't going to be something where the helicopters are going to be outside," he told the outlet. "It's going to be small enough. I'm little, so I can't have it so big."

Kevin is no stranger to weddings. Prior to meeting his current fiancée, he and his former wife Torrei were married from 2003 and 2011. Together they had two children, Heaven and Hendrix.

The Wedding Ringer, meanwhile, tells the story of Kevin’s character Jimmy, who runs a company that provides best men for grooms who don’t have any friends of their own.

It also stars Josh Gad and Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, and was directed by Jeremy Garelick.
