Kevin Jonas to star in reality show

Kevin Jonas will star in his own reality show

Kevin Jonas and his wife are to star in a new reality TV series.

The 24-year-old singer - the eldest of the Jonas siblings, which comprises of brothers Nick and Joe - and his hairdresser wife Danielle are to star in a series, called Married To Jonas.

The show, which will premiere on the E! Entertainment network on US screens in August, will follow the couple as they deal with Dani's outspoken Italian family and the Hollywood life of the Jonas clan, and with Kevin's superstardom as part of the world famous Jonas Brothers.

"When we learned that Dani married Kevin, our production team became curious about what life would be like for a young bride entering the excitement, and sometimes chaos, of a pop star's life," said executive producer Ryan Seacrest.

"Looking through the lens of young love, the show will examine the ups and downs of Dani and Kevin's marriage, against the backdrop of their contrasting family cultures, traditions and individual careers."

The broadcaster also announced that fans can keep up with the Kardashians for another three years, with a new deal for the reality show, while American Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe is also launching a new music series on E!

Opening Act, which also features Mary J Blige and will premiere in July, will see producers pick an unknown musical act to open a concert for acts like Rod Stewart, Nicki Minaj, LMFAO and Jason Mraz, and will follow the acts as they prepare for these career-changing gigs.
