Khloé: I need to save Lamar
Khloé Kardashian felt "shattered" during her split from Lamar Odom.
The 29-year-old star filed paperwork to end her four-year marriage to the basketball player on December 13 following rumours of his heavy drug use and infidelity.
In an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians which aired in the US last night, Khloé was seen opening up about the breakdown of her relationship.
In a scene which sees her talking to sister Kourtney, Khloé couldn't hold in her emotions.
"I have been putting myself aside to hopefully save somebody's life, and now that I have come to terms that I can't I have to move on with my life and that means like changing a lot. I shouldn't care what people think but I do not like that now I am affiliated," she sobbed.
"I haven't even had a week off, I need to get my life in order, but I love to work as it distracts me, but I go home and I'm a shattered person. But I am just wasting time. What am I supposed to do? Where am I supposed to live?"
She also took the time to speak directly to the camera about her former spouse.
"The whole thing is very uncomfortable. I do not like being around people because I know what they are thinking I can't look people in the eyes and I am not even the one that did anything," she sighed.
"My priority is Lamar's health and well-being and I don't feel it is my place to address a lot of things, as it is not. It is part of my job to protect him and keep him as safe as possible and keeping him safe is by me keeping quiet."
It wasn't just Khloé who gave a glimpse into the family's personal life during the episode. Her step-father Bruce Jenner also gave audiences an insight into his separation from Kris Jenner.
Kris was seen telling Bruce to move back to the family mansion after an extended stay in his Malibu beach house. However, Bruce seemed keen to stay put.
"We both have to admit that the energy between us seems to be better when we are apart right now. We have been together for 23 years and it seems to be now that we are doing better being apart and seeing each other here and there. I have already called the real estate agent and extended the lease," he admitted.
"Don't you think we should have talked about that?" Kris complained.
Joined by family members Kim and Rob Kardashian and Kylie and Kendall Jenner, Bruce explained his reasoning.
"I just did it, I just can't see myself going back to be honest with you. We both seem to be doing better with our space. I am not looking to get divorced or anything but having our space is kinda nice," he replied.
