Khloé K ‘entitled to support’
Details of Khloé Kardashian’s prenuptial agreement with Lamar Odom have been revealed.
TMZ reported the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star will be filing legal documents Friday to end her marriage to basketball player Lamar Odom.
And it’s now claimed Khloé, whose net worth is an estimated $18 million, may profit from the separation due to the prenuptial agreement she and Lamar signed.
“Khloé will be entitled to $500,000 for each year married to Lamar and she could petition for spousal support,” a source told Radar Online, noting Lamar has amassed a fortune of around $100 million.
“However, she would only be entitled to spousal support from Lamar for half the length of their marriage, which would be less than two years.
“Lamar waived his rights to seek spousal support from Khloé and any claims to any money she earned from the Kardashian empire.
“Khloé will remain as the beneficiary on a $10 million life insurance policy Lamar has and that will remain for the rest of their lives.”
Khloé’s marriage to Lamar began to disintegrate after reports emerged he cheated on her and abused drugs, including crack cocaine.
However, infidelity doesn’t appear to be mentioned at all in the pre-nup.
“There is absolutely no cheating clause in document… it just doesn’t exist,” the insider said.
On Friday morning in Los Angeles, X17 photographers asked Khloé, 29, about the divorce rumours, but she declined to comment. The reality star was not wearing her wedding ring at the time.
Earlier this week, TMZ reported a video of basketball star Lamar, 34, rapping about his infidelity was the "last straw" for Khloé.
The troubled couple married in 2009 following a whirlwind romance.
