Khloé Kardashian is finally ready to put her marriage to Lamar Odom behind her, it has been claimed.

The reality star is rumoured to be dating Houston Rockets basketball player James Harden. And while it's early days in their relationship, the 31-year-old is believed to be finally ready to move on from her failed marriage to Lamar Odom because of James.

"Khloé's had so many setbacks since her marriage broke down in late 2013, but James has been treating her like a princess and she's really happy," a source told British magazine Star. "She finally feels ready to put Lamar in the past. She wants a decent guy who she can build a future with. So far, James is proving himself."

Khloé split from former LA Lakers player Lamar in December 2013 after four years of marriage following allegations of his cheating and drug abuse. She went on to date musician French Montana on and off for over a year before things fizzled out earlier this year. Meanwhile 25-year-old James was linked to Khloé's rival Amber Rose a few months ago.

However Khloé has reportedly been quietly dating James for a month and while her divorce papers still remained unsigned by either party, Khloé is keen to find a man she can settle down with once more.

"Khloé is determined to find love again and James makes her feel like that is possible," the source added.

The star did little to dispel such claims when she recently shared an emotive Instagram post with her followers.

"I crave a love so deep the ocean would be jealous (sic)" she wrote.
