Khloé Kardashian breaks silence

Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom

Khloé Kardashian has slammed reports of Lamar Odom’s alleged drug abuse and infidelity.

The 29-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, who is married to Lamar Odom, has endured rumours of her husband;s alleged drug use and infidelity for weeks.

TMZ reported early Sunday the basketball star had been missing for 72 hours after the family attempted an intervention and Khloé kicked him out.

She logged onto Twitter appearing to address the claims and spouting vitriol at those fuelling the gossip.

“Really hard to sit here and listen to people talk shit about my family! F**k you and shame on you! I'm too protective for this shit!” she wrote.

The reality star declined to confirm or deny the reports.

TMZ claims Lamar has had a problem with “hardcore recreational drugs” for the last two years and entered rehab for three weeks last August.

An intervention reportedly occurred on Wednesday and sources say no one has heard from Lamar since.

“Sources connected to the NBA star tell us people on Lamar's side, and on the Kardashian side have not been able to find Lamar or contact him for nearly 72 hours - and we're told the main concern is he's hiding out while doing crack cocaine,” a purported insider claimed.

The allegations follow a lackluster season for the athlete, who is now a free agent.

It also follows claims made by a 29-year-old woman named Jennifer Richardson and defence attorney Polina Polonsky, who claim to have enjoyed affairs with Lamar during his marriage.

Khloé is said to be upset her husband has stopped communicating with her to solve their issues.

“Every time she starts grilling Lamar, he hits the roof, accusing her of not trusting him. Then he just clams up or hangs up,” an insider told America’s OK! magazine this month. “He hates confrontation.”

The source claimed at the time Lamar had moved into Los Angeles’ Roosevelt Hotel to “get away from all the drama”.
