Khloé Kardashian has used the start of 2016 as a chance to reflect on how much she has evolved as a person.

Reality star Khloé Kardashian feels like she has "grown so much" in the last year.

The 31-year-old had a difficult end to 2015, after her estranged husband Lamar Odom was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel after an apparent drugs overdose in October.

At the time, the star raced to be by her former spouse's bedside, and continues to support him as he fights his way back to health, and after waking up on the first day of a New Year on Friday (01Jan16), Khloé took the time to reflect on her journey.

"I feel like I've grown so much this year, with what I can handle and how I react to situations," she wrote on her website. "The new year is a good time to reflect on the baby steps I've taken, and how I've evolved. I think it's so important to acknowledge the evolution. I don't know what we're constantly comparing ourselves to!!!"

Khloé's post came shortly after a fan shared a video of her kissing boyfriend James Harden as they celebrated New Year's Eve at a club in Houston, Texas.

The footage shows the blonde star locking lips with the basketball player, and put the final nail in the rumour coffin that they had broken up at Christmas.

Meanwhile, the first picture of Lamar since his hospitalisation has been posted online by his 13-year-old son, Lamar Odom Jnr, with half of the former LA Lakers player's face close to the camera, while his son and 17-year-old daughter Destiny pose behind him playfully.

"Christmas with my pops," the caption alongside it began. "Here's to 2016. Blessed."
