Khloe Kardashian 'hired extra security'

Khloe Kardashian

Khloé Kardashian is reportedly "not worried" following a bizarre incident that occurred on the set of US X Factor.

The reality star hosts the TV talent show along with Mario Lopez.

Khloé recently received an envelope that was filled with mysterious white powder.

The presenter is said to be in good health and spirits after the scare.

"Khloé is fine," a source told E! News.

"The studio has hired extra security. Khloé is heading to rehearsals right now. She is not worried."

Apparently the substance was thoroughly tested by officials.

The powder came up clean.

"The item was field tested with negative results," FBI Public Affairs Specialist Laura Eimiller said.

"We have a continuing investigation."

Khloé has few words to share about the peculiar event.

"Awkward," she wrote on Twitter in reference to the enigmatic envelope.

Britney Spears, Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato and L.A. Reid serve as judges on this season's X Factor.

The programme is currently airing in America.
