Kim and Kanye baby name revealed?

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have reportedly called their baby girl North

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have apparently named their baby girl North.

The unusual moniker means the baby's full name will be North West, according to US reports.

The reality TV star and the rapper have not officially confirmed their daughter's name after she arrived last weekend around five weeks early, but TMZ claims that the birth certificate from LA's Cedars-Sinai Hospital shows she has been named North.

Earlier this year it was reported that Kanye, 36, was a fan of the name.

People and Us Weekly both say sources have confirmed the news, with an insider telling Us that Kim, 32, and Kanye "will call her Nori for short".

It was previously thought that the couple had picked the name Kaidence Donda West, keeping up the family tradition of names starting with 'K' and as a tribute to Kanye's late mother Dr Donda West, who died while undergoing cosmetic surgery in 2007.

The source added to Us: "Everybody is doing great.

"The baby is so sweet. Kanye is in love. Kim's real due date was July 12 - Kanye's mum's birthday. That warmed his heart."
