Kim and Khloe Kardashian in 'road rage standoff'

Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian and her sister Khloé were involved in a seething standoff as a car attempted to run them off the road.

TMZ reports that Kim and Khloé became extremely agitated as an automobile attempted to smash into their vehicle in Los Angeles Wednesday.

The unknown driver riding in a silver Mercedes cut into the sisters' lane and nearly collided with their car.

Within seconds of this incident Khloé, who was driving, cut the other vehicle off and cornered it on the far right side of the street.

Kim jumped out of the passenger seat to take pictures of the silver Mercedes' licence plate while Khloé attempted to speak with the driver.

"This driver tried to hit us and run while video taping it. She works for CBS Sports. Wow drivers beware. (sic)" Kim posted about the incident on her Twitter account yesterday along with a photo of the licence plate.

The driver of the Mercedes sedan backed up and took off after Kim captured the photo.

CBS Sports have not yet commented on whether or not one of their representatives was involved in the incident.
