Kim and Kourtney 'clash over parenting'
Kim Kardashian and her sister Kourtney are apparently arguing about how best to bring up their children.
Reality TV star Kim gave birth to daughter North with boyfriend Kanye West in June, while Kourtney has kids Penelope and Mason with partner Scott Disick.
Apparently the siblings have found that their shared experience of bringing up little ones has caused a rift between them.
"No one expected how opposite their approaches would be," a source marvelled to British magazine Star.
"Kim's shocked at how little they have in common. It's created a barrier instead of a bond."
Kourtney, 34, is currently rumoured to be pregnant with her third child.
Apparently her open approach to motherhood hasn't been going down well with her younger sister.
"Kourtney breastfed her kids in public, which Kim thought was inappropriate," the source continued.
"Kourt insists it's natural and a great way to lose pregnancy weight, whereas Kim has been pumping milk because she finds breastfeeding uncomfortable."
Baby North hasn't yet been revealed to the public and Kim and her rapper beau have been keeping a relatively low profile.
While 32-year-old Kim seems to be a very careful mom, Kourtney is apparently more relaxed, causing the siblings to clash.
"Kourtney scolds Kim for being too overprotective and highly strung. She's more of a hippy and very laidback. She keeps telling Kim you don't have to jump every time the baby makes the slightest sound," the source explained.
"They've always bickered in a sisterly way, but their rows are getting more personal. Kim thinks Kourtney needs to back off and let her be the mother she wants to be."
