Kim 'chose mom over $4m baby deal'

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West aren't interested in making any money from the debut pictures of their baby daughter North.

The reality TV star and Kanye West welcomed daughter North into the world in June. Rather than cashing in on a multi-million dollar deal from an Australian news outlet, the high-profile pair have decided to unveil their daughter to the world on Kris Jenner's new show.

An image of North will apparently appear alongside Kanye's interview on Friday's episode and shows the baby "lying on a comforter in a very expensive onesie".

The source added to Radar Online that Kanye will "get final approval on the segment, as well as the entire episode around it".

“They were planning on giving it all away to [Kanye’s] charity anyway,” the source continued. “It’s not like [North] needs to worry about [her] trust fund; Kanye’s already set aside a serious chunk of change.”

While one insider explained that Kanye and Kim were never considering a big magazine deal, another added that they are still mulling over a separate offer of “well above $10 million".

The pair are eager to donate such an amount to charity.

“Kim pointed out how much that could help a charity and that they could look back on it and think of all the kids who got to better their situation because of one photo shoot,” the source said.

Meanwhile, Kim is said to have other worries on her mind. The new mom is apparently concerned about the frenzy surrounding her newborn.

“Right now, she is worried about the safety of Nori because paps are throwing stuff over the walls, yelling awful things at her,” said the source. “She feels threatened and scared right now that if they don’t just let everyone see the kid, you all are gonna go cray cray on her when she does finally emerge.”

Despite rumours that Kanye has a strained relationship with Kim's mom Kris, the pair reportedly laughed and joked during the pre-recorded interview for her show.

The matriarch also gushed about the international rap star in an interview with Extra on Tuesday.

"We live together," she smiled. "He's my roommate. He's an amazing guy, and he is so clean. He is such a great member of my family."
