Kim Kardashian: Kanye wants unique baby name

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian already have a list of baby names picked out.

The couple are expecting their first child together, believed to be a girl. The tot is due in July and last week there were reports the rapper was planning to call the new arrival North West.

Kim has laughed off the speculation and hinted she would like to come up with a name beginning with K, as is the tradition in her family.

"I think it would be really cute cause Kanye and I are both K’s… but half the names on our list aren't K’s… we still have time, whatever feels right… Kanye being the father wants something that’s unique," she told Extra.

Kim's pregnancy style has been the cause of many headlines since she confirmed she was expecting at the end of last year.

Many have suggested she doesn't dress to flatter her changing shape, while it's been claimed her weight has also ballooned. The 32-year-old star is able to laugh off the speculation about her body as it's so wide of the mark.

"There are maybe two or three covers just this week that say I am 200 pounds. I'm like, ‘You are 60 pounds off here…' It wouldn't even bother me if I gained all the weight. And I have the biggest sweet tooth and I love junk food. Being pregnant I don't like any of it," she explained.

"I'm waiting for the moments when someone's like let's go to McDonalds and Taco Bell - that's not happening for me and I'm kind of sad about it."

Kim previously admitted her pregnancy has been "painful" at times and wasn't as easy as she expected it to be.

In part that's because she wasn't prepared for the impact she would have on her figure.

"I'm not going to lie and be like, ‘Oh, it's been amazing and I've adjusted great,’” she laughed. “At the beginning it was tough for me when your body changes so much… but once you kind of grasp that and embrace's amazing.”

The star experienced a pregnancy scare earlier this month and was warned by doctors that she needed to slow down. She has taken their advice and tries to take at least half of each day off.
