Pregnant Kim Kardashian “tunes out” her critics and reveals why her relationship with the father of her child Kanye West “works”.

The 32-year-old star is pregnant with rapper Kanye West’s baby and feels it’s best to avoid negative attention.

Instead she chooses to take into account only the opinions her loved ones offer.

“I can’t pay attention to it, especially since I’ve been pregnant,” she told People magazine. “I tune out anything that’s not from my family or friends.”

Kim portrays the character of Ava in Tyler Perry’s newly released movie Temptation.

She acts as a woman who is unfaithful to her husband and her boyfriend Kanye was proud of her performance.

“He loved it. He’s always super encouraging,” she revealed. “When two people are in the entertainment business, there’s giving and taking of advice, but we love each other and support each other in our paths. That’s why it works.”

Kim explained the new motion picture takes a risk by showing an alternative nature to females.

She even claims she has learned a thing or two about being a companion from her screen role.

“It shows a side of women that most movies are afraid to show,” Kim analysed. “What did I take away from it? The grass isn’t always greener on the other side. You have to nurture your relationship.”

Kim is currently embroiled in an agonisingly long divorce from professional athlete Kris Humphries, whom she infamously separated from just 72 days after their wedding ceremony in 2011.

The reality star reportedly sat for a nine-hour deposition on the case earlier this month and the divorce trial will commence in May.
