Kim Kardashian 'wanted ex chat on TV'
Kim Kardashian apparently wanted her final online chat with her ex-husband Kris Humphries to be filmed for her family's reality show.
The reality star was eager for her farewell video chat with her ex-husband to be included on her TV show Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Kim hoped that by having a Skype discussion with Kris she could apologise for some of the things that happened during their divorce battle. However, the basketball star had no interest in having his private life appear on TV.
“[Kris] said no way. Kris turned down Kim’s offer because he didn’t want to appear on any of the Kardashian reality shows ever again," a source told Radar Online. "Kim and Kris haven’t spoken since the divorce was made final, and there are no plans to do so.”
In an episode of the TV show recently broadcast in the US, Kim was seen telling her mom Kris Jenner and sister Khloé Kardashian that she was eager to contact her ex.
The 32-year-old said she wanted to tell Kris that she had "truly loved him" even though the pair were only married for 72 days before she filed for divorce in October 2011.
Radar now reports that Kim had also wanted the Skype conversation with Kris to be filmed for the TV show.
During the episode, Kim was seen celebrating by high-fiving her family when the divorce was finalised.
According to insiders, Kim's reaction didn't go down well with her former spouse.
“He heard about it from his friends,” the source added. “On the day the divorce was finalised, Kris was sombre and a bit sad. There was absolutely no celebration, or parties.
“It was the end of his marriage, and it was a reflective time for him. It didn’t surprise him that Kim carried on the way she did on the show.”
It was recently reported that Kim and her mom want the reality show and it's various spin-offs to end in 2015 to ensure they don't "die a death".
