Kim Kardashian 'wants sitcom'
Kim Kardashian is reportedly planning to star in her own sitcom.
The TV personality enjoys appearing in reality shows such as Keeping Up with the Kardashians but now feels ready to try her hand at something new. She apparently feels a comedy series is the right move for her to make next.
"Kim wants to move beyond reality TV and become a comedy actress," a source told New York Post. "She really wants to be the next Sofía Vergara."
The star is apparently eager to work on a project by herself. Her family - including her sisters Kourtney and Khloé - appear alongside her on her reality shows and she also works with them on her fashion lines.
"Acting is something she wants to do just for her," another insider explained.
Kim appeared on 30 Rock this week, later saying she had "a blast" on set. She is also due to appear in 2013 movie The Marriage Counselor.
Further details of Kim's new TV plan aren't known, although there is speculation Ryan Seacrest might be involved in the project. His company is behind Kim's reality programmes.
Kim's spokesperson hasn't commented on the report.
