Kim ‘ticketed during paparazzi chase’
Kim Kardashian was reportedly ticketed for speeding on a Los Angeles freeway on Tuesday.
The 33-year-old reality star was driving a black Rolls Royce on a Los Angeles freeway when she was pulled over by the California Highway Patrol, according to TMZ.
The website reports Kim was trying to “evade multiple cars driven by paparazzi” at the time.
The traffic stop apparently caused pandemonium as the photographers jumped out of their cars in the middle of the freeway, backing up traffic, according to the outlet.
In addition to Kim, CHP reportedly cited one photographer for speeding while the rest were allowed to go.
The agency is said to be looking into the incident and is considering further prosecution.
“Our law enforcement sources are saying the paps endangered multiple lives with their risky photography, including Kim's, other drivers on the road, and the officers involved,” TMZ reports.
“They’re not getting away with this,” one source said.
The incident follows on the heels of reports Kim, who welcomed daughter North with Kanye West this summer, is considering a major move.
Kim is apparently excited about how much potential there is for her to grow her brand in the UK, as well as the education opportunities that may await the couple’s daughter.
"Kim and Kanye see London as the next phase of their empire growth. The US is pretty much a saturated market for them now, but their business people reckon that London could be their new LA," an insider told British magazine Heat.
"Kanye talks a lot about how he wants his kids to attend the same boarding schools that Kate Middleton and Prince William did. He wants them to go to Oxford, grow up alongside royalty and to be part of the elite."
A spokesperson for Kim has not publicly commented on the reports.
