Kim's baby 'conceived in Italy'

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West reportedly conceived their baby on a romantic holiday in Italy.

The reality television star is believed to be 12 weeks along.

Sources tell TMZ the time frame lines up with the couple's Italian getaway to celebrate Kim's 32nd birthday.

Kim and Kanye were photographed sightseeing in Rome in mid-October.

The trip to Italy also ranks second on her blog of top ten best moments of the year.

Kanye on Sunday night made the surprise announcement the couple are expecting at a concert in Atlantic City while Kim was in the crowd.

During the performance at the Revel resort, Kanye sang, "Now you having my baby" to share the good news.

The 35-year-old star told the 5,000 concertgoers to "stop the music and make noise for my baby mama," and said her pregnancy was the "most amazing thing".

Kim later confirmed the news in a statement on her official blog.

She wrote the couple feel "blessed and lucky" to be expecting their first child together.

Kim and Kanye reportedly planned to keep the baby news under wraps until she started to show, but they were pictured last week leaving the socialite's obstetrics and gynaecology doctor together, presumably receiving the news that it was safe to share their joy.
