Kim Kardashian's baby daughter apparently has her "big almond shaped eyes" and has inherited her father Kanye West's cheeks.

The rapper has recorded an interview for Kris Jenner's talk show and during his appearance he showed the audience a photograph of the new arrival. Rather than cashing in on a big magazine deal, the couple decided to unveil their daughter to the world on Kim's mom's new show - with the episode due to air in the US on Friday.

According to a member of the audience, North has her mother's "big almond shaped eyes," but looks like Kanye.

Other people watching the show were surprised by how relaxed Kanye, who rarely discusses his private life, was during the chat.

"Just left the @KrisJennerShow and @kanyewest was there today! He was so open and blessed us with baby North's photo!" Janiela P tweeted. "She looks like kanye she has his cheeks and she is almost as dark as him and she has big eyes like Kim... toocute (sic)."

Despite rumours that Kanye has a strained relationship with Kris, the pair laughed and joked during the interview.

He even discussed his feelings for Kim, quipping that he was "so in love" with the brunette he had considered "playing sports" to win her heart. Kim previously dated athletes including Reggie Bush and Kris Humphries.

Kanye looked smart in a blue denim shirt, grey T-shirt and brown trousers, while Kris wore a short red dress with long sleeves.

According to Us Weekly, the music star was "really bringing it" for the interview.

Your Horoscopes by Russell Grant

Capricorn:

Your dry humour will be very popular. It's always difficult bringing a large group of people together. Everybody feels like they are walking on eggshells. After cracking a few jokes, you'll put the group at ease. Resist the temptation to make fun of relatives, especially the more sensitive members of the group. Nobody likes feeling singled out. Watching a light hearted comedy can also be a great way to generate a festive atmosphere. This is a time when people can put their differences aside.More
