Kirsten Dunst would never date someone who is too like herself.
The actress is currently in a relationship with her On the Road co-star Garrett Hedlund. She has given some hints about what she looks for in a man, insisting it is personality which initially attracts her to someone.
"Hypothetically speaking… I like a guy with a good soul who makes me laugh. That's most important," she told Company magazine. "I also think it's very important not to date someone who is too much like yourself. Because that would feel like having another girlfriend and boys and girls are different."
It's thought Kirsten and Garrett met while they were shooting the movie, which is based on the famous book by Jack Kerouac. The couple prefer not to be too open about their romance. However, Kirsten is happy to gush about Garrett's acting talents.
"I don't talk about relationship stuff," she insisted, when asked what it was like to fall in love on set. "But I will tell you that he is a wonderful actor and was wonderful to work with."
