Kim Kardashian's sister is happy to just be friends with her ex as continue to co-parent their three children.

Reality TV star Kourtney Kardashian is refusing to rule out a future reunion with her on/off boyfriend Scott Disick.

The couple, parents to three young children, began dating in 2006 but Kourtney dumped Scott last summer (Jul15) after tiring of his penchant for boozing and partying.

They have sparked reconciliation rumours in recent months after spending more and more time together in public, and Scott even joined the Kardashian clan last week (ends08Apr16) for a family break in Vail, Colorado.

However, Kourtney insists they are not currently back together.

Kim Kardashian's older sister was quizzed about their relationship status during an appearance on U.S. breakfast show Today on Tuesday (12Apr16), when co-presenter and family friend Kathie Lee Gifford asked, "Are you and Scott getting back together, or will you ever get married?"

"I don't know," she laughed. "We're not getting back together right now, but I don't know what the future holds in life, in God's plan. But we're just doing our best to be the best parents. Like, he came with us to Vail and it was great. But, like, we're friends at this point."

Kourtney, 36, admits the former couple spends so much time on the phone together she never really has the chance to miss having him around.

"We talk all the time, so I feel like I don't really get that chance," she explained.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star's comments echo those made by Scott in late March (16), when he admitted their relationship is complicated.

"I don't think anything is ever simple," he said during an appearance on Australian radio show Kyle & Jackie O. "I'm not the first person in the world to get separated from their significant other. There are things we both have to work on... We're at a good place, (but) I don't think either of us want anymore than where we're at."

"I don't really rule anything out," he said of getting back with Kourtney. "If things are meant to be, maybe they will be."

Despite the fact their relationship is now platonic, Scott and Kourtney have still had fun teasing fans on social media.

They took to Snapchat last month (Mar16), when Scott joked to followers, "So, um, we wanted you guys to hear it first: We are getting back together!", while on April Fools' Day (01Apr16), the mother-of-three pretended to walk in on Scott in bed with her model sister Kendall Jenner, playing up unfounded tabloid rumours of a secret fling between the pair.
