Kourtney K’s birth ‘drama’
Kourtney Kardashian apparently had to “fight with” mother Kris Jenner to keep cameras away from her baby delivery.
The 35-year-old reality star welcomed her and partner Scott Disick’s third child, a baby boy, on December 14. And apparently the delivery room was not devoid of family controversies.
“There was drama surrounding the birth,” a source told Radar Online. “But for the first time in quite a while, it was not centred around Scott!”
The 31-year-old self proclaimed “Lord” has raised many eyebrows of late, with his partying antics reportedly landing him in rehab earlier this year. But he’s said to have picked up his game for Kourtney and their family.
“[Scott] has been sober recently and totally stepped up to the plate for her, as he knew that she was going to give birth to their child,” the insider said.
Momager Kris Jenner was reportedly the one who caused problems. The website claims that whilst Kourtney wanted to keep her delivery private, the 59-year-old wanted to record it for Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
“Kris wanted the cameras to roll on the birth and Kourtney had to fight with her to keep it private,” according to the source. “Kris just wants to exploit anything that she can, so of course this is no different.”
The little boy, whose name is still unknown, is the third member of Kourtney and Scott’s brood – a little brother for Mason, five, and Penelope, two. It’s thought the tiny addition will help cement the couple’s relationship.
“Hopefully this can be a fresh start for them. They are very happy parents right now and, regardless of what is going on in their relationship, sometimes a baby can make things all better,” the insider said. “They have a brand new healthy boy and right now that is all that matters to her and her children.”
