Kris ‘in meltdown mode over Bruce’s TV show’
Kris Jenner reportedly thinks it’s “extremely selfish” of her ex-husband to discuss his alleged gender transition on television.
The former Olympian has been surrounded by speculation that he wants to become a woman for months. Earlier this week it was reported that Bruce would address the rumours in a new TV show, but it seems his ex-wife isn’t happy about the plans.
“Kris is absolutely in meltdown crisis mode over Bruce’s decision to go public with his decision to transition to becoming a woman,” an insider told Radar Online. “She’s been in denial about it for years. But now Kris thinks it’s extremely selfish for Bruce to be doing this at this time.”
The 59-year-old acts as manager to her six children and their business affairs. And it seems this is one of the main reasons that she wants Bruce to keep quiet about what he’s doing.
“Their oldest daughter, Kendall, 19, is at the height of a modeling career, and Kris doesn’t want anything to jeopardise that,” the source continued. “Kris is concerned about the fall-out.”
As well as Kendall, Kris and Bruce had another daughter Kylie, 17, during their 23-year marriage, which ended in October 2013 when they announced their separation. Kris also has four children from her first marriage to Robert Kardashian, while Bruce has three sons from his first union.
But it seems that the self-styled momager isn’t just concerned for her offspring, according to the insider, she is also looking out for number one.
“As always, the only thing Kris cares about is herself,” they said. “But Bruce could not care less what Kris is feeling, and that is driving her even more out of her mind.”
Entertainment network E!, which also airs the family’s Keeping Up with the Kardashians reality show, is reportedly working with GLAAD in preparation for the highly-anticipated series.
