Kris Jenner ‘eager to enjoy card shoot’
Kris Jenner apparently went to extreme lengths to keep spirits up while shooting the Kardashian family Christmas card.
The reality TV family are renowned for their annual over-the-top festive card, which this year was shot by fashion photographer David LaChapelle. It shows Kim, Kourtney, Khloé, Kendall, Kylie and Kris in an apparent amusement arcade, with celebrity magazines scattered over the floor and TVs in the background. Kourtney's children Mason, four, and 17-month-old Penelope also feature, as does Kris' estranged husband Bruce. Kim's fiancé Kanye West and their daughter North isn't included, nor is Khloé's spouse Lamar Odom or the girls' brother Rob.
Apparently the shooting of the card was fraught with difficulties.
"Kris drank a bottle of champers all to herself to try to keep up the good cheer. As Kim was having her hair and make-up done, Kanye was FaceTiming her making sure she met with his approval," a source told British magazine Heat.
"It was definitely a case of Kim and Kris against everyone else and it's caused quite a rift, with the other girls questioning what exactly 'family' means to them, especially when the boys were banned and the babies were deemed 'not working' by LaChapelle."
Kourtney was reportedly adamant her children with Scott Disick should be included and made her feelings plain.
"When David said, 'These children just don't work with my vision,' Kourt was open-mouthed. She stormed off and was almost in tears. She had to be begged to come back. Even then, it was only if her kids were in it. She's now refusing to send it out and is making her own family card," the insider claimed.
