Kris Jenner 'eyes up The View'
Kris Jenner is reportedly eyeing a return to a TV talk show.
The View has been on the air since 1997 but has been through some difficulties over the last year, with Jenny McCarthy and Sherri Shepherd both leaving. Rosie O'Donnell returned as a presenter last year, only to announce she would be departing after one season.
Kris apparently believes she is the perfect choice to replace Rosie and get the series back on its feet.
"Kris is acting as her own agent, so she’s been calling the producers to try to sell them on what an enormous audience she already has and how she will single-handedly save the show," an insider told the American edition of OK! magazine.
The Kardashian family matriarch has some experience in the hot seat as she had her own talk show in 2013. Only six episodes aired as it wasn't renewed for a full season, despite Kris getting her famous family to appear - Kanye West even debuted the first picture of his and Kim Kardashian's daughter North on one episode.
However, it seems not everyone is on board with Kris' new plan. Apparently The View presenter Whoopi Goldberg isn't sure she is the right choice because of all the drama surrounding her family.
At the moment much of that is centred around Kris' ex-husband Bruce Jenner, who is believed to be transitioning into a woman. Neither he nor the family have spoken about the rumours, with Kim, Bruce's step-daughter, simply saying he will speak about what is happening in his life when he is ready.
Yesterday there was widespread shock when Us Weekly printed an interview with Kendall Jenner, one of father-of-six Bruce's daughters with Kris, in which she appeared to confirm the rumours. However, she quickly shot down the quotes.
"how is it legal for someone to "quote" someone and publish it if in fact you never said what was quoted," she fumed on Twitter.
"Shame on US Weekly for making up quotes. I NEVER said those things. I never spoke to them."
