Kris Jenner 'fixated on fame'
Kris Jenner is allegedly hoping she'll be the "most successful" member of the family.
The Kardashian matriarch manages the careers of her daughters Kim, Kourtney and Khloé.
Since catapulting her girls to international fame, Kris is now said to be concentrating on her own ambition, with her family becoming "exhausted" by her relentless attitude.
Her chat show is said to be the start of her take-over quest.
"At first she focused her ambition on Kim, and then her sisters. Now she wants it for herself," a source told British magazine Heat.
"Kris has become fixated on her viewing figures and she'll do anything to boost them. She is pretty ruthless and ambitious. She's hoping she'll end up being the most successful Kardashian."
Kris and husband Bruce Jenner appear on Keeping Up With the Kardashians with the rest of the Kardashian/Jenner clan.
The source revealed that Kris has been keen for more airtime on the show.
"At first, on The Kardashians, Kris and Bruce played minor roles. Now they're in it more than Kim. It seems like Kris won't rest till she's taken over the world," the insider continued.
Kris has been enlisting the help of her famous family on her self-titled Fox chat show, and recently aired a video clip of new mother Kim.
Kourtney and Khloé have also made guest appearances.
