Kris Jenner: I can't stop promoting

Kris Jenner says she can't stop promoting her new show despite an onslaught of criticism.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star debuted her US chat show Kris on July 15.

She was swiftly panned by critics but her campaign to obtain good reviews remains relentless.

One fan piped up on Monday, begging the star to stop her endless self-promoting tweets.

Kris re-tweeted the message with her own response.

"@LongDuckJohn: @KrisJenner stop promoting. For the love of god!" I cant help myself!!" she wrote.

Kris was tangled in controversy earlier this week when she tried to get on the good side of New York Post columnist Linda Stasi.

The effort backfired.

Linda slammed the show, writing that Kris should "shut up". She also dragged the reality star's daughter, Khloé Kardashian, into her tirade.

"She has as much right having a talk show as her dopey daughter with no talent had being a host of the X Factor," Linda wrote.

Kris did not relent.

Instead, she sent the critic a dozen cupcakes from the high-end Magnolia bakery and a $325 silver pen from Tiffany's.

"Dear Linda, Sorry you didn't like the show. I'm still a huge fan of your column. Love and blessings, Kris," an attached note read. "P.S. When you think I've improved, maybe you will write a better REVIEW with this!"

Linda replied with a scathing editorial for the Post.

The columnist insisted with sarcasm she cannot be bought.

"Does this bribe make me look fat? It does? D**n! Then I better pull on some giant Spanx before I go out in public with my new sterling silver Tiffany bribe that Kris Jenner sent me. I don't want to embarrass a Kardashian by looking like a big a** or anything," she mused, continuing, "Kris, let's get something straight right here, right now. I cannot be bought - for a pen. A pen and pencil set, maybe - but just a pen?"

"To improve your rating, Mrs. Kardashian-Jenner, either you somehow become interesting, which given the data seems as likely as the pope turning Jewish, or you do better with the bribes," she mused.
