Kris Jenner: I'm an overbearing mom

Kris Jenner thinks she might be a little too "overbearing" to be allowed to help plan her daughter Kim Kardashian's wedding to Kanye West.

The hip-hop star proposed to the reality TV queen on her 33rd birthday in October and she has confirmed they will likely tie the knot this summer. There has been intense speculation the nuptials will take place at the Palace of Versailles in the French capital, with the couple said to be checking out venues in Paris over the weekend.

Kris would love to help with arrangements, but isn't sure that will be the way forward.

"I don't know if I'm going to be invited to partake in that process. We'll have to find out, because, I'll admit, I can be a little overbearing as a mom sometimes," she told British magazine Heat. "We've got to get this show on the road so we'll see how it unfolds."

The latest season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians started on US TV over the weekend and will follow Kim's sister Khloé as she goes through her divorce from Lamar Odom. Kris' split from her husband of 22 years Bruce Jenner will also feature.

However, it's unsure if Kim and Kanye's baby daughter North will be on screen.

"I'm not sure exactly [if North's going to be on the show], because we're still filming. She's really beautiful and she smiles a lot. She's a great baby. Thank goodness. If we had a crier on our hands, I'd be out of there," Kris laughed.

"Yes [motherhood has changed Kim]. In a really good way. She's so in love with North and it's just been wonderful to watch. She's hands on. I was like, 'Kim, can I hold her now?' But she loves that baby so much."

The matriarch also reassured fans that Khloé is dealing with her situation alright. She filed for divorce following months of allegations of drug abuse and infidelity on her basketball star spouse's part.

"She's OK. You know, it's hard. It's hard to go through something like this. We haven't really gone full-blown speed [filming with her]. I don't know [if she'll have a spin-off]. Maybe," Kris said.

The family are all famously hard-working and rarely have time off. When she does have a spare few hours, Kris likes to spend them in a surprising way.

"I like to go to bed early because I get up really early so my guilty pleasure is just doing nothing," she explained. "If I have a night off and we're not filming, to put my pyjamas on and get into bed and watch Dancing with the Stars or Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Just to relax."
