Kris Jenner: North West on show would be kidnap

Kris Jenner

Kris Jenner debuted her new TV talk show with another infant in her arms as a joke and tribute to new granddaughter North West.

The new daytime TV programme host denied snatching Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s daughter North West from her Los Angeles, California mansion and bringing her to work on Monday.

She made the joke as she introduced the debut episode of her new Fox network show entitled Kris with another tot in her arms.

“I couldn’t do that to Kim. That would be kidnapping,” she laughed to the studio audience.

Instead she tricked viewers into thinking she was carrying little girl North West by borrowing her stylist Monica’s offspring.

Prior to that she used the infant to promote the programme by sharing a snap of the two on Twitter.

“You never know who will stop by our show today,” she teased in the caption.

The matriarch-and-manager revealed that a number of high-profile celebrities visited Kim in hospital after North West’s birth on June 15.

Apple’s Steve Wozniac was among guests and he handed over a special Father’s Day gift to rapper Kanye.

"[We] ended up in a room and then we had a baby. On Father's Day, which was two days later, guess who was in the room when I got to the hospital? Steve Wozniac," she spilled.

The star also reassured fans she wasn’t behind Kim’s decision to stay out of the spotlight since becoming a parent.

Kris added that Kim will introduce her child formally when she sees fit.

"Absolutely ridiculous, haven't even chatted about that so no, not happening," she said about gossip Kim was not allowed to leave the family home. "She can go out anytime she wants. I promise. She's not locked in a closet. No! It's so silly!"
