Kris Jenner reportedly called an emergency family meeting to ask her children to boost her public image.

The reality TV star has been given the nickname ‘momager’ after promoting the careers of her daughters Kim, Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall and Kylie Jenner.

Kris recently revealed she has separated from her husband Bruce Jenner and she is apparently worried it could cast her in a negative light.

"Kris is petrified her image will be further degraded as she'll come off looking like a dragon lady obsessed with wealth and money, who drove mild-mannered Bruce away," a source confessed to British magazine new!

According to the publication, Kris even arranged for an emergency family meeting.

"Kris is clamping down. She's ordering the others to keep their traps shut, and if they must talk, to only praise her as having fought a long, hard battle to save her marriage," the insider continued.

It's been a difficult time for the Kardashian clan, with Khloé experiencing issues with her husband Lamar Odom.

Kim and Kourtney are also known to have had their ups and downs with boyfriends Kanye West and Scott Disick.

Apparently it was their uncertain relationships which proved too much for Bruce.

"What with Lamar's alleged drug use and cheating, Kanye's out-of-control temper and Scott Disick's wild spending, Bruce is fed up," the source explained.

"He moved out because he can't stand to be around them. Kris is not going to abandon her daughters, and hearing Bruce say he's fed up with the girls' love lives broke her heart and solidified that she wants a clean break from him."
