Kristen Bell: Dax and I are hillbillies

Kristen Bell

Kristen Bell says she and her fiancé Dax Shepard are "hillbillies".

The actress vamped up her sweet image in a gorgeous but raunchy black and white photoshoot for Flaunt magazine.

The 31-year-old sported voluminous tumbling curls, black underwear and a PVC pencil skirt for the photographs and shed a few preconceptions along the way.

"We're hillbillies at heart, and I'm not f**king ashamed of that. I would like to be called on my bulls**t," she said in the accompanying interview. "I stopped chasing perfection in every definition of the word. In career, in vanity, in anywhere I could apply it. I think perfection is unrealistic and unattainable, and I felt freed when I let myself be who I am. Like, I'm gonna order red velvet pancakes. Life is f**king short and these are delicious."

The Forgetting Sarah Marshall star also aired her views on her promotional duties.

Kristen has got six movies coming out in 2012, but unfortunately doesn't enjoy being interviewed very much.

The actress is prepared for her career to end and is trying not to splash the cash for that reason.

"It's annoying. I do interviews like this where I talk about myself for two hours, and it's f**king nauseating to me. You know what I mean?" she said. "You tend to always be prepared for the end. Even if you get out. So, I always assume my career's going to end tomorrow, you know what I mean? We're very frugal."

Gemini:

Someone will steal credit for your work, which is maddening. Drawing attention to the problem will only make you look petty. You're better off accepting the situation with quiet dignity and grace. Move on to the next assignment, but make sure to sign your name to every piece of work that is submitted. Tell your boss what you are doing on a regular basis. You'll sound like a pest, but at least it's better than getting stabbed in the back.More
